James Dean

James Dean is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the petroleum industry. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at IOG Resources since October 2021, James previously held the same title at IOG Capital, LP from September 2017 to October 2021. Prior to these roles, James was the Engineering Team Leader at BP from August 2011 to August 2017 and worked as an Engineer at Netherland, Sewell & Associates from 2009 to 2011, as well as at BP from 1994 to 2009. James Dean earned a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, completing the program in 1994.
