Andreas Schwarzkopf has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Andreas started their career as a Student Research Assistant at the GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research, where they worked on expanding radiation planning software.
After that, they joined flinc GmbH as a Software Developer, specializing in mobility and geospatial algorithms. Andreas later took on the role of Senior Software Developer, contributing to core algorithm development and web development.
Andreas then joined Deutsche Bahn Connect GmbH as a Senior Software Developer, before moving on to their current company, ioki – a DB company. At ioki, they initially worked as a Senior Software Architect, contributing to the company's technical infrastructure. Andreas then progressed to the role of Head of Backend Engineering, where they led a team of Fullstack Developers in building the backend of a multi-tenancy app for mobility services. Currently, Andreas holds the position of Vice President Engineering at ioki.
Andreas Schwarzkopf obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Informatik from Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they studied from 2003 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2020.
