Akis Effraimidis

Akis Effraimidis has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Akis has held various roles in multiple companies. Their most recent position was as the Operations Director EMEA at IBA, where they started in September 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Operations Manager EMEA at the same company from November 2017 to August 2019. Akis also worked as the Control Systems Manager at IBA from December 2011 to October 2017. Before joining IBA, Akis was a Project Manager at TEK Thessaloniki SA from March 2010 to November 2011. Akis also served as the General Manager at ATS Automation SA from June 2007 to December 2009. Prior to that, they held the role of SCADA Business Unit Manager at Metropolis Informatics SA from 2004 to 2007. Akis started their career as an Embedded Systems engineer at Power Electronics Control Ltd. in September 1997 and worked there until June 2000. Akis then became a Technical Manager - Founding Partner at Total Control Ltd from July 2000 to January 2004. Overall, Akis has a wide range of experience in operations management, project management, and technical roles in the field of control systems and automation.

Akis Effraimidis attended the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki from 1990 to 1994. Akis then pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) starting in 1995.
