Olivier Lechien

Olivier Lechien has more than 27 years of experience in various roles in corporate communication, public relations, and marketing. Olivier is currently serving as the Corporate Communication Director at IBA since January 2021. Previously, Olivier has held key positions such as Managing Director and Owner at Ellocom, Head of Public Relations at Lampiris, PR Director (Europe) at GSMA, and Head of Communications at the Cabinet of the Brussels Minister for Economy, Employment, Commerce, Health, and Scientific Research. Olivier has also served as Managing Director at Grayling Brussels, Corporate Communication Manager at Mobistar, and External Relations & Development Manager at Intermarché. Olivier started their career as an Account Director at Weber Shandwick and later became the Marketing & Communications Director at Deloitte.

Olivier Lechien has a Bachelor's degree in Law from UCLouvain Saint-Louis Bruxelles, which they obtained from 1986 to 1989. Olivier also holds a Master's degree in Corporate Communication from Université catholique de Louvain, earned from 1990 to 1992. In 1992-1993, they pursued a Postgraduate degree in Financial Communication from Université catholique de Louvain. Recently, in 2023, they completed the Senior Leadership Programme in Business Administration and Management from Vlerick Business School.
