Alessio Romito has a range of work experience in the field of UX design. Alessio has worked as a Lead UX Designer at ION since November 2023. Alessio was a Design Mentor at adplist.org from December 2023. Previously, they were a Product Designer II at Microsoft from May 2022 to October 2023 and a UX Mentor at Springboard from March 2022 to October 2023. Alessio also worked as a Senior UX Designer at Avast from September 2021 to March 2022. Prior to that, they were a UX Designer Specialist at Nestlé from May 2020 to August 2021. Alessio has also worked as a UX Designer at their own website and as a UX and Graphic Designer at different cooperatives including Cooperativa Promozione Lavoro and Cooperativa Sociale Itaca. Alessio began their career as a UX Researcher and Project Manager at Elledi Progetti & Sviluppo from December 2015 to June 2016.

Alessio Romito has a diverse education history. In 2012, they completed their MA in International Relations & Communication at Luiss Guido Carli University. Alessio then pursued further education and obtained an MA in European Public Affairs from Maastricht University in 2014-2015. In 2017-2018, Alessio completed an MA in Management of Social Enterprises from Università di Trento.

In recent years, Alessio shifted their focus to UX design. In 2019, they earned a Professional Diploma in UX Design from the UX Design Institute. Alessio further enhanced their skills by completing a UI for UX Designers program at CareerFoundry in 2020. Alessio also participated in the UX Designer Mentoring Programme by Jonah McLachlan in the same year.

To expand their knowledge in human-computer interaction, Alessio pursued a Professional Certificate in Human-Computer Interaction at Georgia Institute of Technology from 2021 to 2022. Alessio also obtained various certifications related to design and user experience, including courses on design thinking, application design, cognitive psychology, accessibility, and UX strategy, among others.

Alessio's dedication to continuous learning is evident through their involvement in the Microsoft Global Hackathon in 2022 and 2023, as well as their completion of multiple edX, Udemy, LinkedIn, and Nielsen Norman Group courses.
