Carlo Purassanta

Carlo Purassanta is currently the EVP of Strategy and Corporate Development at Ion Group. Prior to this, they served as the President of Microsoft France from January 2011 to July 2021. Purassanta has also worked with Cedacri, OTB, Cerved Group Spa, French Touch Fund, Diesel, and MIP Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business - Company. Carlo is 48 years old and originally from Milan, Italy.

Purassanta has a passion for organizational development and business transformation through the smart usage of technology. Carlo is also an advocate for open and collaborative systems for innovation, diversity, and inclusion. On a more personal level, they enjoy traveling, swimming, sailing, playing tennis, and photography. Carlo also plays music with the Microsoft Italy Band "TheSparks" and the Microsoft France Band.

Carlo Purassanta has an MBA from Henley Business School and a degree in management engineering from Politecnico di Milano. Carlo also attended Liceo Scientifico "Alessandro Volta" in Milan.
