Laura West

Laura West has extensive work experience in various roles within the legal and finance industries. Laura is currently the Head of Legal Engagement EMEA at ION, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, Laura worked at Debtwire as an Account Director & Team Lead from September 2020 to October 2021, and as an Account Manager from September 2019 to September 2020. Laura also worked at Inframation - An Acuris company as a Sponsorship Sales Manager from June 2018 to September 2019. Before that, Laura held positions at Debtwire as a Senior Relationship Manager and Relationship Manager from January 2017 to June 2018 and from June 2016 to January 2017, respectively. Laura also worked at Mergermarket as a Relationship Manager - Inframation from June 2015 to June 2018. Laura's earlier experience includes roles at Garrington Relocation Ltd as an Account Manager from January 2014 to June 2015, at Garrington Property Finders as an Operations Assistant from October 2013 to December 2013, at Loughborough Students Union as a Social Chair from March 2012 to March 2013, and as a Social Secretary and Vice Chair of Rutherford Hall from November 2011 to February 2012. Laura also had summer internships at Birketts LLP and Tees Solicitors in 2012. Laura has demonstrated expertise in legal engagement, account management, sales, and relationship management throughout their career.

Laura West completed their BA in International Relations from Loughborough University between 2010 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their A Levels in History, Government & Politics, and English Literature from Saffron Walden County High from 2007 to 2009. Laura also completed their GCSE's from 2002 to 2007 at the same school.
