Bambang Setyo Haryono

Bambang Setyo Haryono has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Bambang Setyo currently holds the position of Director of Business Operations at ION Mobility, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, Bambang worked at Ringan (PT Ringan Teknologi Indonesia) from January 2020 to January 2023, where they served as the Country Risk Head and later as the Head of Product Risk Collection. At Ringan, they built a strong risk management and collection framework, as well as established an operational risk and collection team from scratch.

Before joining Ringan, Bambang worked at Shopee as a Project Manager from November 2019 to January 2020. Prior to that, they held various roles at TunaiKita, starting as a Collection Manager from March 2017 to June 2018, and later as the Head of Credit & Collection from July 2018 to October 2019. Bambang saw working in the fintech industry as an opportunity to bridge the gap between regulated financial industry and fast-moving fintech.

Bambang also has experience as an author, publishing a book titled "COLLECTION (A Missing Piece of Fintech Industry)" in August 2019. The book focuses on how to boost unsecured loan profits through strong collection teams. Additionally, they authored a collection handbook in December 2015, emphasizing the importance of strong collection practices for business growth.

Prior to their work in fintech and publishing, Bambang held multiple positions at CIMB Niaga from May 2006 to December 2016. These roles included Assistant Vice President-Card Collection & Performance Tracking, Manager, Assistant Manager, and Sub Manager. During their tenure, Bambang managed a portfolio of credit card bad debtors and forecasted asset quality.

Bambang's career started in 2005 with PT Bank Niaga, where they participated in the Executive Development Program from September 2005 to April 2006.

Bambang Setyo Haryono attended Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
