Xianyi Wu

Xianyi Wu has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of product design and development. Starting in 2006, they worked at Apple Inc. as part of the iPod product design team. Xianyi then co-founded and served as a senior product design engineer at d.light design from 2007 to 2014. At d.light design, they also took on the role of senior project manager and later became the VP of Product Design.

In 2015, Xianyi Wu joined GreyOrange as the Lead Product Design and Development. Xianyi worked in this position until 2018 when they moved to Wecash as the Head of Design. At Wecash, they formed and led a team of UI/UX designers and contributed to the management of the company's suite of financial products in Southeast Asia.

In 2017, Xianyi Wu became an Executive Committee Member at Design Business Chamber Singapore (DBCS). Xianyi played an active role in raising the standard of professional practices and creating business opportunities through cross-collaborations in local and international contexts. Xianyi'stenure at DBCS lasted until 2021.

Most recently, Xianyi Wu joined Ion Mobility in 2020 as the Chief Product and Design Officer, where they are responsible for leading the product and design strategy of the company.

Throughout their career, Xianyi Wu has demonstrated a strong focus on design-led innovation and a drive for applying design principles in business settings.

Xianyi Wu pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University from 2001 to 2005. Later, Xianyi gained further education by completing a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University during the year 2005 to 2006.
