Ajanta Adhikari

Ajanta Adhikari has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Ajanta is currently the Founder, CEO, and President of Ionate, Inc. which they started in April 2016. Prior to this, they held various roles at different companies including MarkMonitor, where they served as the Director of Engineering and Platform and Chief Architect from May 2016 to August 2018. At MarkMonitor, they were responsible for developing innovative platforms and architectures to protect trusted brands from fraud and infringement, resulting in significant cost-saving initiatives.

Before MarkMonitor, Ajanta worked as the Director of Engineering at Aspera, an IBM company, from February 2015 to May 2016. Here, they led the engineering team for WebApps, Cloud, BigData, UX and Design, Research and Development, and Identity. Ajanta was recognized for their contributions to the development of AsperaFiles, the world's first SaaS offering that efficiently and securely moved data at maximum speed.

Prior to Aspera, Ajanta held roles at Akamai Technologies, where they served as the Sr. Engineering Manager for the Akamai Application Platform and the Engineering Manager for Luna Control Center Platform. Their contributions at Akamai were notable, such as designing and managing the LUNA Control Center and receiving the prestigious Danny Lewin Award in 2012 for demonstrating excellence and dedication to the company.

Earlier in their career, Ajanta worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Lozoic, a Software and Security Engineer at the University of San Francisco, and a Software Developer for Academic Projects at METROSAGE LLC and Bold Focus, Inc.

Ajanta Adhikari has a diverse education history. Ajanta pursued their undergraduate studies at Nagpur University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a B.Tech degree in Computer Science. Following that, they attended the University of San Francisco from 2000 to 2002, earning an MS degree in Computer Science. Later on, from 2008 to 2010, Ajanta attended the University of San Francisco School of Management, where they completed their MBA degree with a specialization in Entrepreneurship.
