David Egli

David Egli has had a diverse range of finance and accounting roles throughout their career. David began their career at HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil, where they worked as a Sachbearbeiter Finanz und Rechnungswesen before transitioning to the role of Bereichscontroller aF+E/DL. In this position, they provided consulting and developed new controlling structures for the FHO Fachhochschule Ostschweiz.

From there, they joined KPMG Switzerland as a Wirtschaftsprüfer, where they audited standalone and consolidated financial statements and conducted internal trainings. David then moved on to OC Oerlikon Corporation AG, where they served as the Head of Group Reporting.

Egli continued their career at Oerlikon USA Holding, where they held the role of CFO. Following this, they joined Oerlikon Surface Solutions as the Head of Finance, responsible for overseeing financial planning, budget management, and financial reporting. In their subsequent role as Head of Finance and Accounting OSS, Egli managed the daily operations of the finance and accounting department and assisted in contract negotiations and product investment decisions.

Currently, Egli works at Ionbond - IHI Group as the Group CFO, ensuring the credibility of the finance group and providing accurate monthly closings and financial analysis. Additionally, they act as a liaison for the IHI parent company, responsible for reporting to the ultimate parent company, IHI.

David Egli completed their education with a Diploma in Business Auditing from ExpertSuisse in 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich in 2006. David also completed their secondary education with a degree in Commercial Maturity from Kaufmännisches Berufsbildungszentrum Luzern in 2002.
