Şant Turaç

Şant Turaç is an experienced professional in the field of battery system engineering, currently serving as the Manager of Battery System Design at IONCOR since August 2024, where responsibilities include disciplinary and technical management of over 12 engineers. Prior to this role, Turaç held positions at Valmet Automotive from August 2018 to August 2024, initially as Manager of Requirements Engineering & Lifecycle Toolchain leading a team of over 5 engineers, and earlier as a System Engineer focusing on requirement engineering in battery development projects. Earlier experiences also include project management and system design roles at ES Engineering und Service GmbH, along with internships at TUSAŞ and Alarko Carrier Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. Şant Turaç holds a Master's degree in Energy Science and Technology from Ulm University and a Bachelor's degree in Maschinenbau from Yeditepe University.
