Cherie Carswell

Cherie Carswell is a seasoned fashion professional with extensive experience in menswear and womenswear design. Currently serving as a Senior Designer for Roots since October 2017, Cherie previously held significant roles including Designer for Baro Drywear, where responsibilities included design and product development for outerwear, and Lead Designer at Dish and DUER, focusing on performance denim and alternative fabric bottoms. Additional experience encompasses roles at Gentle Fawn, Mia Melon, and Bench, as well as freelance work at Dashing Bash LLC, which involved projects for major brands like Vans and The North Face. Cherie began the fashion career at Westbeach Snowboarding Apparel, managing all aspects of design and product development. Cherie holds a Diploma in Fashion/Apparel Design from Fanshawe College, earned between 2002 and 2005.
