Tracey Hammett

VP Clinical Development & Operations at iOnctura

Tracey Hammett has over 35 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Tracey began their career in 1985 as a Registered Nurse at an NHS Trust. In 1994, they joined Zeneca Pharmaceuticals as a Clinical Research Associate and Clinical Research Nurse - Trial Co-ordinator. During their time at Zeneca Pharmaceuticals, they were responsible for protocol preparation, informed consents, and training of colleagues and part time staff. In 1999, Tracey Hammett moved to AstraZeneca, where they held a number of roles, including Director of Scientific Project Management (Clinical Program Director), Clinical Development Director/Study Delivery Director, and Experimental Medicine Leader. In 2016, they joined Sarah Cannon Research Institute as Senior Director of Clinical Development, and in 2021, they became Vice President of Clinical Development & Operations at iOnctura.

Tracey Hammett completed their RGN degree at Oxford School of Nursing from 1982 to 1985. Tracey then obtained a Teaching and Assessing in Clinical Practice certification from NMC: ENB 998 in June 1991. Finally, they completed their BSc in Biological and Physical Sciences at The Open University from 2008 to 2014.
