Sunho Kang

Sunho Kang is a highly experienced professional in the field of battery technology and materials science. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Ionic Mineral Technologies since October 2024, Sunho Kang previously held the position of CTO for the Battery Cell Business at Ola Electric from January 2023 to October 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Vice President of Battery Technology at Volkswagen of America, Inc. from September 2021 to December 2022 and as Vice President of Cell R&D at Wildcat Discovery Technologies, where Sunho Kang focused on materials discovery using High Throughput technology. Earlier in the career, Sunho Kang contributed to cell impedance growth mechanism analysis as a Senior Manager at Apple from September 2017 to January 2020. Sunho Kang holds both a PhD and an MS in Materials Science and Engineering from Seoul National University.
