Chani Hodonsky

Chani Hodonsky currently serves as a Senior Scientist in Human Genetics at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Chani was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the UVA Center for Public Health Genomics from August 2019 to July 2023, where key projects included investigating genetically regulated gene expression in coronary artery tissue and collaborating on research related to atherosclerosis. Chani's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Hospital and Molecular Epidemiology from the University of Michigan.
