Jeffrey Smith

Jeffrey Smith has extensive experience in patient advocacy and business development across several companies in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Patient Advocacy at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Jeffrey previously held roles such as Managing Director of Advocacy Relations at Real Chemistry and Senior Director at Wave Life Sciences. Additional experience includes positions at Biogen as Director of Patient Advocacy for Multiple Sclerosis and Associate Director of US Medical, along with an earlier role as Assistant Manager of Business Development at EnVivo Pharmaceuticals. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Strategy and Business Analysis and Health Sector Management from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, as well as a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
