Marci MacPherson

Marci Macpherson is an accomplished professional in the field of Quality Assurance with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Vice President of Development QA at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since April 2021, Marci leads a team focused on global compliance for GCP, GLP, GVP, and REMS. Previously, Marci held the position of Executive Director of Quality Assurance and Compliance at Bristol Myers Squibb and established a global GCP inspection management team. Marci's earlier roles include Senior Director of Clinical Quality Assurance at Celgene, where successful health authority inspections supported numerous global regulatory filings, and various positions at Abraxis BioScience, Synarc, Ceregene, and L.E.K. Consulting. Marci holds a Master's degree in Bioscience Regulatory Affairs from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University.
