Renato Vasconcelos

Renato Vasconcelos, MBA, CPA, CISA, CFE, currently serves as the Head of Internal Audit at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a position held since 2019. Previously, Renato held several roles at Qualcomm from 2014 to 2019, including Sr. Director of Internal Audit & Advisory Services and Director of Internal Audit & Advisory Services. Renato's experience also includes Senior Manager positions at First Solar and Amgen, focusing on Internal Audit and Compliance Operations, as well as Corporate Audit. Earlier in their career, Renato served as an Auditor for the Receita Federal do Brasil and as an Auditor for SEF-MG. Renato began their professional journey as a Naval Officer in the Brazilian Navy. Renato's education includes an MBA in Management from the Yale School of Management and a BA from the Escola Naval.
