Sarah Stanton currently serves as VP Global Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance at Taysha Gene Therapies and holds the position of Executive Director MD, Safety Neurology Franchise Lead at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. With extensive leadership experience in clinical safety, Sarah has led safety initiatives across multiple organizations including Sanofi, BeiGene, Coherus BioSciences, Takeda Oncology, and MedImmune. Notable achievements include developing high-performance teams, improving Pharmacovigilance processes, and managing complex clinical studies in neurology and oncology. Sarah's educational background encompasses a Doctor of Medicine degree from Penn State College of Medicine, a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Scripps Research, and multiple engineering degrees from Cornell University and Drexel University.
