Morris Tan

Morris Tan began their career in 1984 as a Cadet Engineer at Intel Corporation, where they worked in the Quality & Reliability department for two years. Morris was then promoted to Lab Supervisor in 1987 and Lab Services Section Head in 1988. In 1991, they were promoted to Product Q&R Section Manager, leading a team of engineers responsible for yield, quality & reliability of a range of products.

In 1996, Morris Tan joined Zarlink Semiconductor (formerly Mitel Semiconductor) as a Senior Failure Analysis Engineer. Morris was promoted to QA Team Leader in 1998, Product/Process Engineering Manager in 2000, Senior Manager Test Operations in 2001, Director of Worldwide Quality in 2002, and Director of Worldwide Test Engineering in 2003. In 2005, they were promoted to Director of World Wide NPI/PE, including responsibilities for packaging & test development.

In 2011, Morris Tan joined Skyworks Solutions, Inc. as a Senior Director. Morris then moved to SiGe Semiconductor in 2005 as VP Operations, where they enabled SiGe to achieve growth & profitability. In 2019, they joined Ionomr Innovations Inc. as VP Operations.

Morris Tan attended De La Salle University from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained a B.S.E.C.E. in Electronics & Communications Engineering.
