Nicolas Delfosse is a Principal Researcher at IonQ, where they lead the quantum error correction team. Prior to their current role, they were a Senior Researcher at Microsoft from 2020 to 2022 and held postdoctoral researcher positions at Caltech and Université de Sherbrooke. Nicolas has also been a recipient of the LIX Qualcomm Fellowship at École Polytechnique. They are currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Pure Mathematics at Université de Bordeaux.
