Jessie Shaw has extensive work experience in a variety of roles and industries. Starting in 2016, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Center for Enabling New Technologies Through Catalysis, where they designed and constructed a flow reactor for catalyst analysis. They also synthesized and characterized copper/molybdenum carbide catalysts.

In 2015, Jessie worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Colorado School of Mines, focusing on synthesizing and characterizing earth-abundant transition metal nitrides for catalysis.

From 2017 to 2017, they served as a Technical Sales Engineer Intern at Nalco Water, gaining experience in technical sales.

Starting in 2018, Jessie joined Nalco Water as a District Representative III, working in the heavy industrial sector. They later transitioned to the role of District Representative II, focusing on institutional clients.

In 2021, Jessie joined Covalent Metrology as a Customer Engineer, assisting clients in various industries with their metrology and materials science needs. They developed and grew key customer accounts. They then took on the role of Sales Team Lead before being promoted to Manager, Customer Engineering in 2022. In this role, Jessie coached and managed a team while focusing on enterprise/key account management and development in industries such as medical devices, consumer electronics, batteries, and semiconductors.

Most recently, in 2023, Jessie started working as a Customer Program Manager at Iontra Inc.

Jessie Shaw obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines from 2014 to 2018. In 2023, Jessie completed a certificate program in AutoCAD at Red Rocks Community College. Additionally, Jessie holds additional certifications in HubSpot Sales Software from HubSpot Academy, obtained in November 2022, and Conversational Sales Certified from Drift, obtained in June 2022.
