Richard Howlett

Richard Howlett possesses extensive experience in engineering and operations management within the energy sector. Currently employed at Iontra Inc since March 2023, Richard previously served as VP of Advanced Engineering and VP at the same company from January 2020 to January 2023. Richard's background includes leadership roles at Nilar from December 2011 to January 2020, where responsibilities encompassed driving US operations and overseeing sales, marketing, strategy, and R&D. Richard has also held significant positions such as Chairman of the Battery Testing Standard Committee at SAE International and Interim CTO at Fleet Energy Company. Early in their career, Richard contributed as Chief Engineer for Nilar Power Systems, followed by engineering roles at Hewlett Packard. Richard holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas Tech University.
