Andy Hobbs

Andy Hobbs is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in product management and technical solutions. Since December 2017, Andy has served as Chief Technology Officer and Head of Core and Cloud at IONX Networks. Prior to that, Andy held the position of Head of Systems & Solutions at Quortus from September 2016 to November 2017, and served as VP of Products & Solutions at Airspan Networks from October 2013 to September 2016, overseeing Airspan's Small Cell Backhaul portfolio and Network Management Systems. Andy also worked at Samsung Networks Europe as the European Head of Product Management from July 2011 to September 2013, and had a long tenure at Airspan Networks, starting in 1998 and accumulating various roles including Director of Product Management. Andy's early career includes positions at DSC Communications as a Systems Verification Engineer and Installation and Commissioning Engineer. Andy earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Manchester in 1996.
