Michael Ferris

Michael Ferris is an accomplished telecommunications professional with extensive experience in network architecture and product management. Currently serving as Chief Network Architect at IONX Networks since February 2022, Michael is responsible for the global design and architecture strategy for Dense Air’s 4G and 5G network infrastructure. Previously, Michael was an Executive Board Member and Workstream co-leader at Small Cell Forum, where involvement focused on developing neutral host models for small cell services. Michael held various roles at Colt Technology Services, BT Wholesale, EE, Tellabs, and Orange UK, contributing to major projects in mobile backhaul, core network design, and product evolution. Michael holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Technology from Aston University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Coventry University.
