Murtaza Ashraf

Murtaza Ashraf has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Murtaza began their career in 2010 as a Cloud Specialist at PTCL.Official, where they worked for two months. In 2012, they joined iOPTIME Pvt Ltd as the Chief Operating Officer, a position they currently hold. Also in 2012, they briefly worked as a Software Engineer on the Jaroka Tele Health Care Project at USAID. More recently, in 2017, Murtaza Ashraf joined the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology as a Computer Vision Research Engineer, a role they held until August 2022.

Murtaza Ashraf obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in 2012. Murtaza then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from NUST from 2012 to 2014. Following this, in 2017, Murtaza enrolled in the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Data Science, which they are anticipated to complete in 2022.
