Richard Byrne is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and fleet management with extensive experience across various high-profile organizations. Currently serving as Group Director for Fleet & HSE at Travis Perkins plc since 2014, Richard has implemented transformative health and safety strategies. Additionally, Richard holds significant roles at ExtraCare Charitable Trust as a Trustee and Divisional Director of Health & Safety, and at IOSH as a Nominations Committee Member. Previous positions include Head of Route Safety, Health & Environment at Network Rail and Group Head of Health, Safety & Technical Services at ATS Euromaster. Richard holds a First Class degree in Ergonomics & Health and Safety Management from Aston University.
