Amanda Henninger, MAIR

Amanda Henninger, MAIR has a diverse work experience in the fields of defense, international security, and counter-terrorism. In 2020, they began working as the Director of Defense Innovation and Director of International Security and Counterterrorism at BIED Society. In this role, they designed and implemented the vision, R&D strategy, and program framework for the International Security and Counterterrorism department, as well as defined and led the Counterterrorism fellowship program. In 2021, they became Co-Founder of Dynasec, Customer Experience Manager of IoT/AI, and Executive Director of the Texas Defense Innovation Forum (TDIF). In this role, they were responsible for managing stakeholder communications, event planning, and production. In 2022, they became an Advisor at Routr. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Management and Business Consultant at Amanda M Henninger from 2015-2021, Analyst at Wikistrat from 2016-2021, and Program Management Office Consultant at Strategy Consulting Team from 2017-2021. Amanda also worked as a World Languages Teacher (Spanish and English as a Second Language) at Harford County Public Schools from 2013-2015.

Amanda Henninger, MAIR holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Syracuse University - Maxwell School, a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Political Science; Spanish and Communication Studies from Towson University, and an Executive Certificate in Counter-Terrorism Studies from Reichman University. Additionally, they have obtained four Certificates of Advanced Study: Advanced Security Studies from the Institute for National Security and Counterterrorism (2012), Conflict Resolution from the Program for the Advancement of Research on Conflict and Collaboration (2012), Middle Eastern Affairs from the Moynihan Institute (2011), and Counter-Terrorism Studies from the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (2011).
