Jonathan Vlahos

Jonathan Vlahos has a diverse work experience in the field of IoT and digital transformation. Jonathan started their career in 1998 as a Network Engineering Manager at Telstra and later took on various roles including Product Portfolio Manager and Commercial & Channel Manager, focusing on IoT and M2M. Jonathan then joined Huawei as a Sales Manager and Senior Managing Consultant. In 2015, they became the Lead of IoT/M2M Practice at Vita Group Limited, where they developed IoT business strategies and led sales and operational activities. In 2019, they joined IBM as a Practice Lead for IoT and Digital Twin, specializing in IoT-driven digital transformation in the Industrial, Energy & Utilities, and Telco sectors. Currently, Jonathan works as an IoT Consultant at the IOT DESIGN HOUSE, providing domain expertise to businesses and enterprises for their IoT-driven transformations. Additionally, they are a member of IoT Alliance Australia. Throughout their work experience, Jonathan has demonstrated expertise in IoT platforms, market research, go-to-market strategies, IoT solution architecture, and business development.

Jonathan Vlahos completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Electrical, with a major in Telecommunications, from the University of Adelaide between 1993 and 1997. Prior to that, they attended Adelaide High School from 1991 to 1992, although no degree or field of study information is provided for this period.

In terms of additional certifications, Jonathan obtained the "AMI Professional Member" certification from the Australian Marketing Institute in June 2023. Jonathan also completed the "IoT - Overview of IBM Watson IoT Platform" certification from IBM in July 2019.
