Krishna Badhiwala

Krishna Badhiwala's work experience includes serving as a Senior Research Scientist at iota Biosciences, Inc. powered by Astellas since March 2021. Prior to that, from March 2015 to February 2021, Krishna worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Rice University, where they conducted research on the regenerative nervous systems in small animals. In this role, Krishna designed and built microfabricated devices with nano-scale electrodes, developed computer vision algorithms, and mentored and managed a team of students. Krishna also briefly worked as an ENRICH Fellow at Enventure in August 2018. Earlier in their career, Krishna served as a Test Engineer at Luminex Corporation from June 2011 to June 2014 and as a Test Engineer Intern from June 2011 to October 2012.

Krishna Badhiwala holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioengineering from Rice University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, Krishna Badhiwala has completed a certification in Leadership Foundations, which was obtained in June 2019 from The Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University.
