Saahil Patel

Saahil Patel is an Embedded Software Engineer at iota Biosciences, Inc. Saahil has experience developing software for IoT medical base stations interacting with implantable piezoelectric devices. Saahil is proficient in C and Python, with knowledge of modern software development processes and tools. In their previous role as a R&D Engineering Intern at Cedars-Sinai, Gulati Lab, Saahil designed behavior boxes with electro-mechanical systems to automate mice behavioral training, programmed laboratory automation equipment, advised surgeons during electrode implantations, and analyzed electrophysiological data. Saahil holds a Master of Engineering in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from UCLA.
