Alex Clarke

Alex Clarke has held a variety of roles in the past eight years, beginning with an Associate role at Fazolis Italian Restaurant in 2014. Alex then moved on to become an Associate Manager at the same restaurant, where they created a program to print out schedules in a more efficient way. In 2015, they joined IKEA as a Software Engineer, where they were required to create a website for the IKEA Centennial store using various languages, and refactor large portions of code. In 2020, they took on a Theoretical Mathematics Researcher role at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Finally, in 2018, they joined Bandwidth Inc. as a Full Stack Software Engineer, where they designed, iterated, implemented, and deployed a global insights system using AWS, machine learning, and statistical process control. Alex also mentored team members on technical and theoretical topics, as well as engineering practices, and fostered a company-wide community around learning. In 2022, they moved to IoTecha Corp as a Senior Software Engineer.

Alex Clarke earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Theoretical Mathematics from Metropolitan State University of Denver between 2014 and 2019. In May 2022, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
