Marcos Vinicius Pereira Gondim

Marcos Vinicius Pereira Gondim, Ph.D., currently serves as the Manager of Quality Control Flow Cytometry Assay at Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc., beginning in February 2024, and previously held positions as a Principal Scientist Analytical and Senior Scientist at Bristol Myers Squibb from October 2020 to February 2024, focused on flow cytometry and CAR-T therapy. With extensive experience in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and quality control assays in compliance with GMP guidelines, Marcos has contributed significantly to the onboarding of new hires, method transfer activities, and implementation of new technologies in quality control testing. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Medicine, Pathology, and Genetic Molecular Biology from Universidade de Brasília and a Ph.D. in Virology from the Technical University of Munich, accompanied by various research and technical roles that have deepened expertise in virology and molecular biology.
