Michele Fernandes

Michele Fernandes, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Michele is currently the SVP of Portfolio Management at Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc. Prior to this, they served as the Chief of Staff at Neumora, where they led and implemented key cross-functional initiatives and streamlined content for executive meetings. Michele also founded and served as the Principal at MRF Lifesciences Consulting, providing consulting services to biopharmaceutical and diagnostic companies. Michele held senior leadership roles at TwinStrand Biosciences, Acerta Pharma B.V., LOXO Oncology, Genentech, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Mitsubishi Pharma Europe, and Bristol-Myers Squibb, where they excelled in business development, operational strategy, and clinical operations management. Michele's expertise includes forming strategic partnerships, managing alliances, leading global operations, and optimizing clinical trial processes.

Michele Fernandes, PMP has a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Biochemistry from the University of Surrey. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications in Organizational Leadership from INSEAD in September 2022 and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2016.
