Dave Auwerda

Dave Auwerda is an accomplished educator and coach with extensive experience in social studies and athletics. Serving as the Social Studies Department Chair at Morris Community High School since 1993, Dave oversees a team of nine teachers, managing budgeting and curricular initiatives. As an assistant coach in multiple sports, including football, baseball, soccer, and track, Dave has contributed to significant successes, such as aiding the 1995 Class AA state championship baseball team. Currently, as an Offensive Data Analyst for the Iowa Barnstormers Arena Football team, Dave works closely with coaching staff to analyze game film and develop strategies. Additionally, Dave has a background in graphic and website design, collaborating with various football teams and educational institutions. Educational credentials include a Master's in Educational Technology from Boise State University, a Master's in Curriculum & Instruction from Olivet Nazarene University, and a Bachelor's in Secondary Education from Millikin University.
