Kirsten Lane

Kirsten Lane has extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as a Secondary Transition Program Facilitator at the Iowa Department of Education since September 2018. Additionally, Kirsten has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Morningside College since 2008, teaching online and hybrid courses in the Graduate Education program. Prior to these roles, Kirsten worked as a Transition Coordinator for Des Moines Public Schools from August 1995 to June 2018 and held similar positions at Heartland AEA and Ames Community Schools. Kirsten Lane holds a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Special Education from the University of Northern Iowa and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a Special Education emphasis from the same institution.
