Alec Birmingham

Alec Birmingham is a Cyber Security Engineer at the Iowa Department of Transportation since September 2017. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Developer Intern at Berkley Technology Services in the summer of 2017, a Teaching Assistant for Management Information Systems at Iowa State University from August 2016 to May 2017, a Supervisor at Code Play Learn in the summer of 2016, and a Software and Information Technology Intern at The Chicago Lighthouse for People Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired from May 2015 to June 2016. Alec holds a Master's degree in Cyber Security and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, both from Iowa State University (2018-2020), and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Iowa State University (2014-2018), following graduation from Oak Park and River Forest High School (2010-2014).
