David van Egdom

David Van Egdom, CCE, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education, transportation, and community service. Since October 2018, David has served as the Transportation Program Coordinator at Northwest Iowa Community College, where efforts have led to the successful establishment of a reputable program addressing diverse transportation needs. Additionally, David has been a Certified Commercial Examiner with the Iowa Department of Transportation, facilitating commercial driver's license testing on site. David also serves as a Girls High School Softball Coach at Trinity Christian High School, fostering athletic skills and personal development among student-athletes. As a motivational speaker through Watch Out For Seagulls!, David inspires audiences on faith and attitude. Previously, David held leadership roles in various organizations, including as Program Director for the Foster Grandparent & Senior Companions Programs of Greater Siouxland, focusing on community engagement through volunteerism. David’s educational background includes certifications in coaching from Iowa Lakes Community College.
