Bethany Kohoutek

Bethany Kohoutek is an experienced marketing and communications professional currently serving as the Marketing Director at Iowa Environmental Council since July 2024. Prior roles include Director of Marketing and Communications at NAMI Iowa from April 2022 to July 2024 and Vice President of Marketing, Communications, and Advocacy at Lutheran Services in Iowa from 2016 to 2022. Bethany has a background in editorial leadership, having worked as Editor of Do It Yourself magazine at Meredith Corporation, where responsibilities included overseeing editorial planning, managing a significant budget, and directing multiple photo shoots annually.
