Hale Strasser has extensive experience working in various roles in the field of information technology. They started their career as a Programmer at CDS - Communications Data Services in 1997 and then moved on to work as a Senior Web Applications Developer at E-Markets from 1998 to 2002. After that, they co-founded OpenCom/ISUNet, an Internet Service Provider, and served as a Website & Database Designer from 1996 to 2003. Hale then worked as a Programmer Analyst at Iowa State University - Office of Social & Economic Trend Analysis from 2003 to 2006. Following that, they served as the Director of the Office of Motor Vehicle Support at Iowa Department of Transportation from 2006 to 2014. Currently, Hale is the Vice President of Lottery Systems at Iowa Lottery since 2014, where they are responsible for managing information technology functions related to lottery gaming systems, websites, and network infrastructure.
Hale Strasser holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Iowa State University. They also earned a Master of Public Administration degree in Executive Leadership from Drake University.
