Rick Hindman

Rick Hindman is a seasoned IT executive with extensive experience in public sector and private industry roles. Currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer at the Iowa Public Employees' Retirement System since July 2022, Rick previously held the position of Chief Information Officer at IPERS from September 2012 to July 2022, overseeing critical technology initiatives for a $23 billion investment portfolio supporting public employees in Iowa. Additionally, Rick was the Chief Information Officer at the Iowa Department of Natural Resources from January 2007 to November 2012 and contributed to Maytag in various IT-focused roles from 1998 to 2004, including IT Help Desk Manager and IT Support Leader.
