Joshua Allen

Joshua Allen is a Communications Assistant at Iowa State University Athletics Department since August 2022, where responsibilities include creating press releases, organizing event content, and generating social media highlights. As the Swimming and Diving Media Contact, Joshua also oversees communications for the team, including writing pre-game and post-game articles, managing social media, and collaborating with various media outlets. Previous experience includes a Commercial Marketing Intern position at Charter Dura-Bar in the summer of 2024 and an Online Orderfilling & Delivery role at Walmart from November 2020 to May 2021. Joshua is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications at Iowa State University, expected to graduate in December 2024.
