Jodie McAlister is an accomplished professional in policy governance and stakeholder engagement, currently serving as the General Manager for Policy and Stakeholder Group at IP Australia since May 2022. Prior to this role, McAlister held various significant positions including Non Executive Director at Human and Hope Australia, General Manager of Governance and Policy at the Australian Radioactive Waste Agency, and Assistant Secretary at both the Australian Government Department of Agriculture and Water Resources and the Australian Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment. Additionally, McAlister has experience as Counsellor for Economic Governance at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Director of Governance and Growth at AusAID. With a strong educational background including a Master's degree in Anthropology and Applied Development from the Australian National University and a B.AGR.EC in Agricultural Economics from the University of Sydney, McAlister has built a diverse career spanning government and international organizations.
