Mladen Mitic

Mladen Mitic is an experienced professional in the field of intellectual property and business transformation, currently serving as the Director of Business Transformation & International ICT Cooperation at IP Australia since August 2018. Mladen has held various roles at IP Australia, including acting Chief Data Officer and Senior Examiner of Patents, specializing in Physics. Prior to this, Mladen worked at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) as an Associate Officer in the Technical Cooperation Section. Mladen's earlier career includes positions as a Software Developer at Oakton and multiple roles at IP Australia that include examining patents in Computing, Electronics, and Telecommunications. Mladen holds a Master's degree in International Law from The Australian National University, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Honours) from Monash University, and a Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practice from Griffith University.
