Julia Pollock is a seasoned freelance writer with over two decades of experience, known for a weekly humor column in The Daily Herald since July 2000, which has gained traction in multiple newspapers across the USA. Julia has authored two books, including "UNDER THE RUG: BLACK LACE AND BARBIE DOLL HEADS." Prior to writing, Julia dedicated over 30 years to education, serving as a Special Education Teacher across various schools from 1981 to 2011, also teaching seventh and fifth-grade language arts. Julia holds degrees in Special Education and Elementary and Special Education from institutions including Trevecca Nazarene University and Middle Tennessee State University and has an Associate of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Columbia State Community College.
