Arne Rusek

Arne Rusek has worked in the technology industry since 2004. In 2006, they began working as a Software Engineer at hukot.cz, where they were responsible for creating and operating a web hosting service, as well as leading junior developers. In 2004, they began working as a Senior Linux Administrator at NetCentrum. In 2011, they began working as a Senior Linux Administrator at MapFactor s.r.o., where they were responsible for developing a vehicle tracking server, administering and maintaining the infrastructure, and monitoring tracking and data distribution systems. In 2015, they began working as a Senior Analyst/Django Developer at Technology Agency of the Czech Republic. In 2015, they began working as a Backend Team Leader and DevOps Team Leader at Showmax, where they were responsible for leading the SVOD platform backend team, developing higher quality monitoring, logging, and high availability of services, and automating monitoring and maintenance processes. In 2019, they began working as a DevOps and Backend Team Leader and Systems Architect at DT One, where they worked on re-platforming a credit lending service. In 2020, they began working as a Leader and Software Engineer at MayaData, where they were responsible for line management of 5 software developers in test, restructuring SRE/DevOps/Support teams, and building automated infrastructure. In 2021, they began working as Director of Engineering at IP Fabric, where they are responsible for leading/developing DevOps, QA, and Support Teams/Leads, mentoring hiring/interviewing skills, and basic PM skills, as well as re-architecting product CI/CD/release pipelines and internal infrastructure.

Arne Rusek began their educational journey in 2000 when they enrolled at Charles University to pursue a degree in Computer Science. However, they did not finish the degree program and left the university in 2004. In March 2016, they obtained a Certified WideVine Implementation Partner certification from Widevine Technologies.
