Dr. Sanjeev Gupta

Dr. Sanjeev Gupta has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Dr. Sanjeev began their career as a Sr. Biotechnologist at Zydus Research Centre in 2000. Dr. Sanjeev then worked as a Scientist in the Genomics Lab at Wockhardt Research Centre from 2003 to 2005. In 2005, they joined Panacea Biotec as a Sr. Scientist in the Monoclonal Antibody Lab. In 2008, they moved to Intas Biopharmaceutical Ltd. where they served as a Senior Scientist and Head of Cell Line Development. Most recently, they have been working at Ipca Laboratories Ltd. since 2013, where they hold the position of Sr. Vice President and Head of Biosimilar (R&D, Manufacturing, and Business Development).

Dr. Sanjeev Gupta completed their education in a variety of fields. Dr. Sanjeev obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbial Biotechnology from M.D. University in Rohtak, Haryana, from 2012 to 2016. Dr. Sanjeev also completed a program on Biotechnology and Intellectual Property from the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva from 2007 to 2008. For their Master's degree, Dr. Gupta studied Applied Microbiology & Biotechnology at Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Zool., Bot., & Chem. from Awadhesh Pratap Singh Vishwavidyalaya from 1995 to 1998. Lastly, Dr. Gupta pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Operation Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University in 2009, with an end year not specified.
