Royston Brockman

Regional Director, South East & Central Asia, & the Pacific at IPE Global Limited

Royston Brockman is leading the implementation of projects in South East Asia. Royston has more than 40 years professional experience of working in the infrastructure and urban development sectors of the developing and developed countries for both private and public sectors. He has extensive in-country experience throughout Asia and the Pacific, Africa and Europe, and has advised national and local governments and the private sector on infrastructure project finance, public private partnerships, strategic urban development, urban renewal, affordable housing and on improving service delivery. He has, for many years, been working as a consultant for the Asian Development Bank and The World Bank, preparing and structuring urban development, shelter and infrastructure projects for financing, and has been engaged in institutional strengthening and capacity development programmes. Recent assignments have included projects in Mongolia, Philippines, and Vietnam. Royston has authored and co-authored several major publications including the ADB's Managing Asian Cities, and City Development Strategies to Reduce Poverty. Prior to joining IPE Global, he was a director of ICF/GHK, and Managing Director of Brockman Tym International, a UK and Hong Kong-based consulting company established to undertake institutional strengthening, and financial and economic appraisal work on urban infrastructure, environmental, shelter, and land development projects.

Royston Brockman holds M. Sc. degree from University of Reading, and B. Sc. degree from Birkbeck College, University of London.
