Arumugam Vadivel has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over multiple roles and industries. Arumugam started their career at Shoba Computers as a System Engineer in 1991 before moving to Chemplast Sanmar Limited in 1992 as an Executive Manager in the Metkem Silicon Division. Arumugam then joined Spectrum High Tech in 2000 as a Manager of Projects before transitioning to GT Advanced Technologies in 2001. At GT Advanced Technologies, Arumugam served as a Project Engineer and later as a Project Manager, executing multiple turnkey capital projects globally. In 2013, they joined IPG Photonics where they held two significant roles. As a Global Customer Support Manager, they were responsible for managing customer service, product support, project management, and field service engineers. In their subsequent role as the Director of Operations, Arumugam oversaw manufacturing operations, supply chain, and implemented strategic roadmaps for expansion and efficiency. Arumugam'skey accomplishments include reducing COGS, improving gross margin, scaling operations, implementing Lean tools, and transitioning from product development to commercialization.

Arumugam Vadivel has a Master's degree in Project Management from Boston University, which was obtained from 2009 to 2012. They also have an MBA from Annamalai University, obtained from 1996 to 1998. Additionally, Arumugam has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, obtained from 1986 to 1990.
